F.A.Q.

Do you have any questions?

Most eye care professionals recommend that you have a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years, depending on your age, risk factors and whether you currently wear eyeglasses or contact lenses. If you are getting headaches after reading for long time you hsould get your eyes checked immediately.

Eye exams for children are highly recommended to ensure the normal and healthy development of the eyes. An early eye exam for a child will detect any issues that may develop and interfere with normal vision development. Vision problems such as amblyopia (commonly known as “lazy eye”) can be prevented with an early eye examination. It is recommended that a child’s first eye exam be at the age of 3 years old, then once a year when they begin school.

We accept most insurance companies, including Sun Life, Manulife, Great West, Green Shield, Industrial Alliance, Blue Cross, and many more. We also accept ODSP and social services vision forms for glasses. If your insurance is not mentioned here, give us a call, and we can check it for you.

If you are not sure what your insurance covers, you should give your insurance company a call to check on your policy. If you have any other questions, give us a call, we will try our best to help you out. We are always more than happy to assist you with submitting your insurance claims over the phone.
